Iraq Reconstruction
As the world waits in anxious anticipation of the coming Iraqi elections - construction continues. Under the watchful eyes of Russ Rote, 39th BCT, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers resident engineer and Andy May, construction representative the 2 million dollar Camp Taji perimeter lighting project kicked off with the placing of 120cm X 130cm concrete footings by Iraqi laborers. Once completed, the camp will have roughly 600 lights illuminating the perimeter.
